Lecture Series by Eminent Social Scientists
- We organize lectures by distinguished social scientists on their areas of specialization and current themes. These lectures are based on extensive research and offer valuable insights to the social science community.
Training Programme on Research Methodology
- To support young researchers and college teachers, we conduct training programs focusing on research methodology in social sciences. These programs aim to enhance research capabilities and methodological skills.
Scholars Meet
- We facilitate informal interactions and discussions between guest speakers and research students, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and networking among scholars in the North-Western Region.
Lecture Series:
Lectures by eminent scholars are organized to share expert knowledge and practical insights beyond textbooks. These events are meant to:
- Encourage deep learning and critical thinking

- Focus on research-based, theme-driven topics of social science significance
Research Methodology Training Programme:
ICSSR-NWRC conducts training for:
- Research scholars, faculty, post-doctoral fellows
- Scholars from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, J&K, Ladakh, and Chandigarh
- Training includes practical sessions on software tools and is free of cost, including meals and accommodation for outstation participants.
