Organizational Setup
At ICSSR-North Western Regional Centre (ICSSR-NWRC), we follow a well-defined organizational structure to ensure smooth operations and effective program implementation. Our leadership and committees work collaboratively to advance the Centre’s mission of promoting social science research and academic excellence.
Management
The Vice-Chancellor of Panjab University serves as the Chairman of ICSSR-NWRC. Under his supervision, the Centre formulates and executes programs aimed at supporting research and academic development in the region.
Advisory Committee
To assist the Chairman in planning and developing programs, the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), in consultation with the Chairman, constitutes an Advisory Committee. This committee includes representatives from various Social Science Departments of Universities and Research Institutions.

✔ Provides expert guidance on academic and research initiatives
The tenure of the Advisory Committee is two years, and it meets at least once a year to assess progress and propose future directions.

Through these well-structured committees, ICSSR-NWRC ensures active involvement of senior faculty members from Panjab University and other leading universities in the region, encouraging a collaborative academic environment.
